To reveal the new Cadillac V-Series Blackwing vehicles during the height of the pandemic, we turned to a content-only integrated approach. We created a teaser spot that aired during primetime of Rolex24, announcing our digital reveal event. We then worked with Larry Chen – automotive and car culture photographer, to host our reveal and create content for his 624k followers, turning the traditional all-engineer reveal on its head.
Did one or more of us lose our lunch after a couple laps around the track? Possibly. But was the end result (over 708k unique views and 5 million replays) worth it? Definitely.
The cherry on top? Reservations for the new vehicles were filled within minutes.
